Dear friend, (30 second read)

1 Idea that changed me: Listen to your favorite comedian on the way to your next social gathering. (you’ll be more fun and the event/gathering will be to)

Meeting new people can feel overwhelming.

what do I say?

Do I belong here?

What will they think of me?

How do I break into this room where everyone seems to know everyone already?

If you feel that, you aren’t alone. And if you take the time to watch these videos and develop some of these default’s you’ll actually start to ENJOY meeting new people. It doesn’t mean you’ll feel like it 100% of the time. but it will nudge in the right direction.

4 things I do:

  1. Start the conversation with a fun way to introduce yourself.

  2. Then build trust through body language.

  3. Demonstrate that you deserve respect (most people mess this one up)

  4. Then turn the spotlight back onto the other person.

People > Everything. This gives you practical tools to live that out.

I just created a 4 part series on youtube that is how I enjoy meeting new people. (echos the 4 steps above)

Click here for the playlist. If you prefer to read them I have newsletters of each of these too.

PS. I’ll going to Central Asia in less than 40 days on a missions trip. If you’d like to hear more about why I’m going back a 3rd time, Reply Asia to this email or text me. (I have a 2 minute video and a link I can send if you’d like to give towards the trip) Many of you already have. So thank you for investing in me and in this trip.
